Chua Alba was born in  Granada ans she has been completely dedicated to her own knowledge as a dancer and to the investigation of teaching flamenco for more than 20 years. She started her professional training in Granada with teachers such as: Manolete, Mariquilla, La Presi and Jesús Montijano, she extended it in other cities such as  Madrid and Jerez with teachers such as Carmela Greco, Rodrigo Alonso, Inmaculada Ortega, Miguel Cuesta and Tibu la Tormenta.

She started dancing since she was a little child, going together her artistic activity with her teaching, in Sacromonte caves and in well known schools for foreigners in Granadasuchs as el Carmen de las Cuevas and Castila.

In 1992 she moved to  Salamanca where she provides classes in  Centro Forma and she also collaborates with  Peña Flamenca Romaní in many shows all over the province, then, in 1993 she also moves to  Getxo (Bizkaia).

During her firts years in  País Vasco she develops her teaching activity in many schools in Bizkaia such as:  Estudio Espiral, Escuela de Begoña Zabala, La Fundición and con la Escuela de Carmen Garmendia, from San Sebastián.

In 1996 she starts investigating about the incorporation of Txalaparta as a percussion instrument in the  flamenco (later on, she will introduce it in many shows).

In 1999 she opens a school in  Getxo, Escuela de danza Chua Alba, which she directs for four years and she was also giving courses in flamenco schools in Barcelona and Santiago de Compostela.

In 2005 she returns to Granada and she works with a little flamenco group Flamenco y +

Since 2008 she directs her own school and she is also giving courses and collaborating in different schools in  País Vasco, Cataluña and Galicia.

In 2009 she starts a new proyect  )Paréntesis(, coproducted by the Agencia Andaluza de Desarrollo para el Flamenco, with original texts written by Encarna Vargas, this show had its premiere the 10th October in the theatre Federico García Lorca in Fuente Vaqueros.

In 2010 she presents a new show  55 almas  in La Chumbera (Granada), which pays tribute to gender victims of year 2009.
